Isn't that mum amazing? I picked these up on Sunday just outside a Buddhist temple a few minutes from our apartment. I know their intended use is as an offering, but I thought they made a nice welcome bouquet for Stuart's mom who is in town this week.
I'm looking forward to a week showing her around! We have plans for art museums, the zoo, the orchid garden and even some acupuncture - yikes, needles in my foot! Wish me luck.

ReplyDeleteI know. For some reason I had a hard time figuring it out, too.... But it's a lotus! Very pretty, huh!
